Nibley House in North Nibley, in the south of Gloucestershire, is one of the few Georgian great houses that is still a private family home, and is surrounded on all sides by gardens, farmland and glorious Cotswold views. The elegant Georgian rooms boast plenty of natural light with high ceilings (one of which is listed in its own right).
The Dining Room
The Dining Room looks out onto the side gardens and over the front lawn to Stinchcombe Hill. It is 30ft x 20ft and can hold up to 50 guests (seated) or 80 guests (buffet). One of its main features is its beautiful listed painted plaster ceiling.
The Drawing Room
The Drawing Room is identical size to the Dining Room (30ft x 20ft, 50/80 guests) overlooking the gardens to the left of the house. For the evening, in the house we are able to accommodate up to 100 guests.
The Entrance Hall
We have 2.5 acres of beautiful gardens for those romantic photographs including a rose garden and an avenue of lime trees. Look at our Wedding Gallery for photographic inspiration. Nibley House really is the venue that has it all.
For larger number of guests, we are able to accommodate a marquee for up to 150 guests on the front lawn; or for even more guests we can position a larger marquee in the field directly to the side of the house. Marquees (and contents) can be hired from a number of local suppliers.
